Still Life and Landscape Paintings Trend Report

This month we are going to talk about a trend in art that is still alive and thriving today, Still Life and Landscape paintings. When one thinks of Still Life’s and also Landscapes, our mind brings us to famous artists like Cézanne, Matisse, Van Gogh, and of course, Mary Fedden, all famous in one way or another for their works of art on this subject.

Today I am inspired by those old masters but also more recent contemporary thriving artists such as, Sandi Hester, www.SandiHester.com, a Still Life, Landscape, and Figure painting American artist based in England. The second artist that also inspires me is Helen Wells, www.HelenWellsArtist.com, a British artist who makes whimsical Still Life paintings. These artists can also both be found on YouTube.
